"The King, the Cat, and the Fiddle" in Alice Tully Hall

The King, the Cat, and the Fiddle is Bruce Adolphe’s musical version of a story by Yehudi Menuhin and Christopher Hope. Using the original text in its entirety, this version is for violin solo, string ensemble, and piano. The concert is the third in the Meet the Music! series at Alice Tully Hall presented by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. All the programs are hosted and directed by Bruce Adolphe. The piece was commissioned by Daniel Hope and premiered in Germany in 2021.
