Bruce has been giving talks illustrated by musicians on stage with him at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center since 1992. This season continues with talks on music by Mendelssohn, Brahms, Ravel, and Mozart in 2025, and in 2026 presentations on music by Dvorak, Mozart, Stravinsky, and Shostakovich. Lively, humorous, and also informative and wide-ranging, these talks look at music from a composer’s perspective, and considers other arts, history, and cognitive psychology.
